2. Device Overview
The ColaStick V1 Plus is a compact HDMI streaming stick. It plugs directly into an HDMI port and draws power over its Type-C port — either from a USB port on your TV or from any standard USB power adapter.

4. Installation — Two Methods
Method 1 — Direct plug-in
Best for: TVs with side-facing or easily accessible HDMI ports.
- Plug the ColaStick into an open HDMI port on your TV.
- Connect the Type-C power cable from the stick to a USB port on your TV.
- Switch your TV to that HDMI input and follow the on-screen setup.
Method 2 — With the HDMI extension cable Recommended
Best for: most setups. Keeps the remote signal reliable and the stick reachable.
- Plug the HDMI extension cable into a TV HDMI port.
- Connect the ColaStick to the free end of the extension cable.
- Connect the Type-C power cable to a TV USB port or a USB power adapter.
- Switch your TV to that HDMI input and follow the on-screen setup.
5. Initial Setup & First Boot
Use whichever installation method above suits your TV.
Connect power via the Type-C cable. The stick boots automatically.
Switch your TV to the matching HDMI input. The boot screen appears within about 30 seconds.
Hold Home and Back together for 3 seconds to enter Bluetooth pairing mode, then follow the on-screen prompt.
Sets the interface language, time zone, and recommendations.
Select your network and enter the password. Use the 5GHz band where available.
This gives you the Google Play Store and personalized recommendations.

7. Network & Wi-Fi
Go to Settings → Network & Internet → Wi-Fi, select your network and enter the password.
5GHz band
Faster and more stable. Use it if your router is in the same room or nearby.
2.4GHz band
Better range, lower speed. Use it if the router is far away or through walls.
8. Installing & Managing Apps
The ColaStick V1 Plus runs Android 14.0 with full access to the Google Play Store.
Install from Google Play
- Open the Google Play Store from the home screen.
- Search for the app you want.
- Select Install and wait for it to finish.
Sideload an APK (advanced)
- Enable Unknown Sources under Settings → Security.
- Transfer the APK by USB or download it in a browser.
- Use a file manager to locate and install it.
9. Bluetooth Headphones — Private Listening
ColaStick V1 Plus supports Bluetooth 5. Pair wireless headphones for late-night viewing without disturbing anyone.
How to connect
- Go to Settings → Remote & Accessories → Add Accessory.
- Put your headphones into pairing mode.
- Select them from the list and confirm.
Reconnecting later
Once paired, the device remembers your headphones. Each session, reconnect from Settings → Remote & Accessories — it takes a couple of taps.

11. Storage & Memory
The ColaStick V1 Plus has 32GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM. Check usage at Settings → Device Preferences → Storage.
Freeing up space
- Clear app caches: Settings → Apps → [App] → Clear Cache
- Uninstall apps you no longer use
12. FAQ & Troubleshooting
My remote stopped working after I plugged the stick in
Your TV's back panel may contain metal shielding that blocks the Bluetooth signal. Use the included HDMI extension cable to move the stick clear of the panel (Method 2). This resolves it in most cases.
The device restarts or behaves unpredictably
Your TV's USB port may not supply enough current. Connect the Type-C cable to a standard USB power adapter plugged into a wall outlet instead.
No signal on the TV
Confirm the TV is on the correct HDMI input. Try a different HDMI port. Check the stick is receiving power.
Wi-Fi keeps dropping
Switch to the 5GHz band, move the router closer, or restart both the router and the stick.
An app crashes or freezes
Go to Settings → Apps → [App Name] → Clear Cache. If it continues, uninstall and reinstall the app.
4K content is not playing in 4K
Check that your TV supports 4K, that you are using a High Speed HDMI connection, and that your streaming subscription includes 4K.
How do I factory reset?
Go to Settings → Device Preferences → Reset → Factory Reset. This erases all data — use it as a last resort.
Can I use ColaStick on a projector?
Yes. It works with any HDMI-equipped display — TVs, projectors and monitors.
