Quick Troubleshoot Guide

Having an issue with your ColaBox L2 Plus? Use the guides and steps below to resolve the most common problems in minutes.

🔌 No Power / Won't Turn On

  • Ensure the power adapter is firmly connected to both the device and the wall outlet.
  • Try a different power outlet or USB-C cable.
  • Hold the power button for 5 seconds to force restart.

📺 No Signal / Black Screen

  • Check that the HDMI cable is securely connected to both the ColaBox and your TV.
  • Switch your TV input to the correct HDMI port.
  • Try a different HDMI cable or port on your TV.
  • Unplug the power for 10 seconds, then restart.

📶 Wi-Fi Connection Issues

  • Stay within range of your router — the ColaBox L2 Plus features dual antennas for stronger signal.
  • Go to Settings → Network → Wi-Fi and reconnect to your network.
  • Restart your router and the ColaBox device.
  • For best performance, connect to a 5GHz network if available.

🎮 Remote Control Not Responding

  • Replace the batteries and ensure they are inserted correctly.
  • Point the remote directly at the ColaBox IR receiver.
  • Re-pair the Bluetooth remote: hold Home + Back for 5 seconds until the LED flashes.

📅 7-Day Replay Not Working

  • Confirm your internet connection is stable (minimum 10 Mbps recommended).
  • Restart the app and try selecting the replay option again.
  • Verify the channel supports 7-day replay — not all channels include this feature.

⭐ Can't Save or Find Favorite Channels

  • Make sure you are logged into your account within the app.
  • Long-press a channel to access the option to add it to Favorites.
  • Check that the app has the latest update installed via Google Play.

🎬 Apps Not Loading or Crashing

  • Go to Settings → Apps, select the app, and tap Clear Cache.
  • Update firmware via Settings → About → System Update.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the app from Google Play.

🔊 No Sound / Audio Issues

  • Check your TV volume and ensure it is not muted.
  • Go to Settings → Sound and verify the audio output settings.
  • If using an external sound system, check the HDMI ARC or optical connection.

🔄 Factory Reset

If issues persist after trying the steps above:

  1. Go to Settings → System → Reset Options.
  2. Select Erase All Data (Factory Reset).
  3. Confirm and wait for the device to restart.

⚠️ Note: A factory reset will erase all installed apps and personal settings.
